Meet the recommended writers of April 2024
Our twenty-fifth group of recommended writers was another amazing group mixing new and returning writers. We also had our first newspaper feature in The Mt. Kenya Times, an exciting new feature for the page. And we promoted an anthology that profits go the charity, which was another proud thing for the page.
Check out the wonderful writers, poets and more for this month now!

(Returning) Meagan Pringle
Romance Author
My name is Meagan Pringle. I am from South Africa. Outside of writing I am studying teaching and I work part-time at a school. From a young age I developed a love for reading and writing. After spending years reading stories, I decided to write my own. What started as cringy fanfiction has slowly blossomed into original works in a variety of genres. My dream is to one day see my books on the shelves and to inspire readers with my words and my stories.
(Returning) Megan Alexandria
Romance & Fantasy Writer
Megan Alexandria is a Spicy Romance Author for readers who enjoy Fantasy and RomComs. She’s known for her love of making you ask, ‘How much worse can it get?’ And from werewolves and witches to historical, forbidden love, there’s something for everyone who likes to hurt for their Happily Ever Afters. When she’s not writing, she’s knee-deep in musical instruments, iced chai lattes, and her office, a.k.a. book trove.
(Returning) Leia Faiga
Jewish Romance Writer
I have been writing for over 30 years, but professionally for 5 years. I have been steadily a contemporary romance writer, but I am branching out into different sub-genres of romance. I am trying to center in on being a romance author with the focal point of my stories focusing around my Jewish faith. More of a secular and culturally dynamic, I hope I can showcase Jewish characters in a main character love interest role, rather than the stereotype I’ve always seen people have my community represented by.
When I’m not writing, I read and I take care of my son and husband. My life outside of writing is rather mundane. So, writing is as exciting as I get. As for the kind of content I typically cover can be considered triggering to some readers. I like to introduce not glorify, gloss over, mock, or overindulge in topics that may offend of harm someone else. But, I try to show people realistic struggles that many people face in their lives. That could include peer bullying, irresponsible self-harm, mental illness, etc. Most of my material are not meant for readers under 18.
